CONCEPT

The House In My Head series is adapted from the french children’s book «Ma maison-tête» written by Vincent Gagnon alias VIGG.

The House in My Head is the story of 8-year-old Vincent. He has loving parents. And a school teacher like all other children. But his daily life is very different from that of his classmates. Because Vincent is not quite like them. Vincent is distracted by what is going on outside or by his own thoughts. He also finds it very difficult to follow instructions. And he is often overwhelmed by his emotions. With all of these little flaws, Vincent’s life is very complicated. Whether it be with family, in school or with friends! Vincent often feels useless and incapable. Like a puppet who can’t do anything. And he really doesn’t like it! But Vincent has a solution to his problems. He goes to a place where he has lived since he was born. A place full of whimsical imaginary friends. A place that he thinks he knows like the back of his hand.
The House in His Head!

The House in My Head series portrays, in an original and accessible way, and with humour and empathy, ADHD disorders (Attention Deficit Disorder with or without Hyperactivity), which are becoming more frequent in children. The brains of children with ADHD work differently. The areas that play the role of conductor are not properly activated, which causes a strong sense of incomprehension, incompetence and emotional imbalance in the child. However, treatment (as provided in France, Germany, Spain, Belgium, Canada or even Brazil) can enable them to achieve their full and incredible potential.
