Synopsis
A film about the power of cinema to celebrate diversity.
Jerusalem, 1938: under British rule, the new Rex cinema sits between Jewish and Arab neighborhoods, drawing all communities together through a shared love of film. Ten-year-olds Moeiz, a Jewish boy, and Ranin, an Arab girl, bond over movies from Robin Hood to Egyptian classics, finding friendship and hope inside the Rex—even as conflict brews outside.
